Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the ESIC IMO Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Indian citizen or subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement.
  • Age Limit:
    • For candidates listed in the CMSE 2022 Disclosure List: Not exceed 35 years as of April 26, 2022.
    • For candidates listed in the CMSE 2023 Disclosure List: Not exceed 35 years as of May 9, 2023.
    • Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen) and certain other categories as per Government of India rules.
    • Employees of ESIC and government servants can get up to 5 years of age relaxation subject to specific guidelines.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • MBBS degree recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (excluding licentiate qualifications).
    • Candidates with qualifications under Part-II of the Third Schedule must meet the requirements specified in Section 13(3) of the Act.
    • Completion of a mandatory rotating internship is required. However, candidates who haven’t completed it can apply if they complete it before selection.
